چکیده

Abstract Objective Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is still a challenge for physicians to manage patient’s circumstances. It assumed that alterations in the normal flora may be involved pathogenesis of T2DM through inducing chronic inflammation. To investigate effect Lactobacillus rhamnosus as common probiotic on T2DM, we induced an experimental model adult male Zebrafish by gradient hyper-glucose accumulation methodology. Results In this trial 3-month old were divided four groups including two control and with or without treatment. After 5 days acclimation, was Diabetic fishes had statistically abnormal blood glucose pro-inflammatory cytokine levels compared group (p = 0.0001). These results suggest intervention decreased level T2DM-P decreasing cytokines responsible signaling therapeutic modalities.

P34: Berberin Exerts Neuroprotective Effects by Modulating Pro and Anti-Inflammatory Cytokines in Rat Model of MCAO

Many complicated mechanisms are involved in brain ischemia and the role of inflammatory factors in the progression of post-ischemic injury is inevitable. In present study, anti-inflammatory effect of berberine has been investigated in reperfusion injury after acute ischemic stroke. Male Wistar rats weighing 250-270 gr were randomly divided into four cohorts: healthy rats (control, n=20), sham-o...

The Effect of MS14 on Production of Pro-inflammatory Cytokines by Macrophages

Objective(s) Using herbal medicines as a complementary treatment method is increasing in wide variety of diseases. MS14-an herbal-marine preparation-is reported to have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities; however, the mechanism underlying its therapeutic effect is not known. Macrophages play an important role in host defense mechanisms and carry out their role by producing vario...

Generation of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in the gut in zymosan-induced peritonitis.

In major systemic inflammation such as severe peritonitis, various pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta and IL-6, play important roles in the development of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). The purpose of this study was to investigate the outflow of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines from the efferent mesenteric lymphatic vessels under peritonitis. M...

In vitro and in vivo assessment of inhibitory effect of stevioside on pro-inflammatory cytokines

Objective: Stevioside is a natural non-caloric sweetener which has been reported to have anti-inflammatory activity.  The aim of  the present study was to examine in vitro and in vivo effects of  stevioside on rats  plasma levels of tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF-α),  interleukin-1β (IL-1β), TNF-α and IL-1β release from lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated rat peripheral blood mononuclear cells (P...

Lactobacillus rhamnosus lowers zebrafish lipid content by changing gut microbiota and host transcription of genes involved in lipid metabolism

The microbiome plays an important role in lipid metabolism but how the introduction of probiotic communities affects host lipid metabolism is poorly understood. Using a multidisciplinary approach we addressed this knowledge gap using the zebrafish model by coupling high-throughput sequencing with biochemical, molecular and morphological analysis to evaluate the changes in the intestine. Analysi...
